This super-stretchy material is a game changer for nymph tyers. By wrapping it over a color base and taking a thread or wire in a different color and wrapping it in between the wraps of Chameleon Body Cord, it will make your fly change colors.

The trick is to pull the thread or wire through the wraps of cord so that it looks as if it disappears from the side view. The color change occurs when you turn it to a front or back view, showing the color of the wire or thread instead of your underbody. You can even stack a couple of different colors of wire for an even crazier change in colors.
